Post Potomac Primary Delegate Count

by @ 7:08 am on February 13, 2008.

Not surprisingly, yesterday’s Potomac Primary had a significant impact on the delegate count for both parties.

Democrats:

  1. Barack Obama — 1,259 delegates (1,103 pledged delegates, 156 superdelegates)
  2. Hillary Clinton — 1,210 delegates (968 pledged delegates, 242 superdelegates)

Republicans:

  1.  John McCain — 797 delegates
  2. Mitt Romney — 285 delegates
  3. Mike Huckabee — 240 delegates
  4. Ron Paul — 14 delegates

McCain needs 394 delegates to win. This nomination will be locked up by March 4th.
