Potomac Primary (Almost) Final Numbers

Just in case the decisiveness of last night’s results, for both parties, is lost on anyone, let’s take a look at the numbers.

Republicans:

John McCain — 157,906 votes, 55%
Mike Huckabee — 84,021 votes, 29%
Mitt Romney — 17,993 votes, 6%
Ron Paul — 17,242 votes, 6%

McCain wins all 13 of Maryland’s delegates

John McCain — 3,929 votes, 68%
Mike Huckabee — 961 votes, 17%
Ron Paul — 471 votes, 8%
Mitt Romney — 350 votes, 6%

McCain wins all 16 of D.C.’s delegates

John McCain — 242,578 votes, 50%
Mike Huckabee — 197,742 votes, 41%
Ron Paul — 21,877 votes, 5%
Mitt Romney — 17,023 votes, 3%

Democrats

Barack Obama — 439,979 votes, 60%
Hillary Clinton — 273,878 votes, 37%

Obama wins 11 of Maryland’s delegates, Clinton gets 5

Barack Obama — 85,534 votes, 75%
Hillary Clinton — 27,326 votes, 24%

Obama wins 9 of D.C.’s delegates, Clinton gets 2

Barack Obama — 619,036 votes, 64%
Hillary Clinton — 345,018 votes, 35%

Obama wins 50 of Virginia’s delegates, Clinton gets 26.
