Below The Beltway

I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Maybe He’s Holding Out For Rhode Island

by @ 3:09 pm on February 27, 2008.

On Monday I noted that the lastest poll shows Mike Huckabee far behind John McCain in his firewall state of Texas.

Today, new polls are showing much the same in two more March 4th states.

Ohio:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters in Ohio found John McCain ahead of Mike Huckabee 55% to 29%. Ron Paul earns support from 7% while 9% are not sure.

Those numbers are relatively unchanged since the last survey conducted last week, when McCain was ahead by 27.

And Vermont:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely Republican primary voters in Vermont found John McCain with a commanding lead in the state. McCain earns support from 68%, Mike Huckabee from 17% and Ron Paul from 5%.

Obviously, Tax Hike Mike is counting on a big Huckaboom coming out of Providence.
