Whatever the national media does, it’s clear that the media in Chicago won’t be backing down anytime soon:
As recently as Sunday, on ABC’s “This Week” program, Obama’s campaign strategist, David Axelrod, insisted that Obama has fully responded to every question posed by reporters. But this is not so.
For months, Sun-Times investigative reporters have had a standing request to meet with Obama, face to face, to get answers to questions such as these:
• How many fund-raisers did Rezko throw for Obama?
• Obama is donating $150,000 to charity that Rezko brought into the campaign. But how much in all did Rezko raise?
• Did Rezko find jobs for Obama backers in the Blagojevich administration or elsewhere?
• Why did Obama only recently admit — after Bloomberg News broke the story — that Rezko had toured his South Side mansion with him in 2004 before he bought it?
Dribs and drabs of people’s lives have a most unfortunate way of coming out in trials.
I can’t believe that that Obama campaign thought this stuff wouldn’t come up eventually. They need to get out front of this one fast before it becomes the only thing people are talking about.
Meanwhile, in a post written before yesterday’s election results, Bob Krumm speculates on an imminent press pile-on of Barack Obama:
I’ve noticed over just the last couple days that Barack Obama is falling under media scrutiny for the first time–and he isn’t bearing well under the pressure.

We conservatives like to deride the media as being liberal conspirators. The truth is that they love controversy far more than conspiracy. And they absolutely love piling on. If–and it’s still a big if–Hillary wins Ohio and at least comes close in Texas, I suspect that Obama won’t enjoy the press pile-on he will soon receive.
Krumm’s right. Obama’s about to be tested in a way he never has been before, either in this campaign or his political lifetime.

Look, Obama is far more clean than any politician that has ever run for president, and if anyone of them ever receive funds that could have been identified from a corrupt individual like this Rezko character, I bet they have hidden it. Hillary is trying to beat a wrap for $1.6 Million from a contributor named Peter Paul, a man that she and her husband have been trying to hide from us, but they are going to court in October for fraud and Mr. Paul is the one who is suing them, plus this trial can put the Clintons in jail for at least 5 years for what they have done to him. He has a paper trail of his contributions and they are claiming they never received the funds. Ridiculous, they did, and it is amazing what they have done to him in the process, to include having him put in a foreign prison and having him lose his multi-million dollar company. This is not going away.
Obama is not a bad candidate, he is naive when it comes to filth and jealousy in the campaign trail. They can’t get anything on him, so they blow up trivial garbage and try to make it seem that it is very very indicative to his leadership. Aren’t you tired of the crap that Hillary is dealing us.
Hillary and Bill need to get Presidential Privilege to evade the recourse of the courts in California that is coming up this October. We can not afford to harbor criminals in the White House, which is why she says everything is so important when she is in the debates. The Clintons are criminals and one more thing, that is why they don’t want to show us their financials, because the courts want those papers too.
