Asked whether he had ever visited a prostitute, Mr. Paterson quipped:
Only the lobbyists.
Heh.
I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Wouldn’t the real prostitutes be the politicians? They are the ones selling services to others correct? The lobbyists buy the service from the politicians who sell themselves out, making the lobbyists the customer, and the politicians the prostitute, no?

I had the same thought last night. I think Patterson may have gotten the analogy wrong.
The politicians are the whores. The lobbyists are the johns.
