France Calls For Boycott Of Olympic Opening Ceremonies

by @ 9:54 am on March 18, 2008.

In response to Chinese repression in Tibet:

France’s Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner says the European Union should consider boycotting the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics if violence continues in Tibet.

The head of the European parliament and media watchdog Reporters Without Borders are calling Tuesday for such a boycott. Kouchner says the proposal is “interesting.”

Kouchner is telling reporters in Paris that the idea should be considered by EU foreign ministers meeting later this month.

If things continue to get bad in Tibet, I think we’ll see more of this from around the world.

Yeah, Like Whatever, I’m still boycotting france!

The french are bent out of shape about Tibet, but wouldn’t lift a finger to help us depose a brutal, murdering, dictator in Iraq?

Hi, my dear European friends, I knew that some of you have ever been to China. If not, please kindly and patiently turn to those who ever did, they would tell you how China is like right now. I dare to tell you that, China is no longer as her looked like 30 years ago, we are not afraid of any one countries in the world, but we love peace, we never interfere any problem and any afluence in any countries or areas.

Yes, China still undergoes strict publication policy, there are something not able to be public to all people, but is there any countries or governements who can agree to abosultely freedom on the news publication. France not, US not, UK not, and all of your motherlands not! There is always dark side in the world, not only in China. Why a staffman in Franch Bank can steal millions of money and the Franch governmental agent just began the invetigation after 8 years of the cash diven up? Think of this, my dear friend.

And as a normal citizen in China, I love my country, I ever stayed in London, New York, Los Angeles, and as well in Warsaw, what I saw is the media there report just for the street voilent, and did you see any news about the vagarants? Any news about the real voice from the lower class in the society? Franch red wine taste well, but any pictures with the deap wrankles on the farmer’s face?

China has undergoed a rapid development on her economy and people’s life. In Tibet, religion there is greatly respected, Budism has been well developped in the past 1200years, and will be the same even longer future. And I need to tell you the truth of the history of Dalai Lama, the fluent Tibetan Government so called, it left Tibet 1950s because of Tibetan welcome Chinese PRA into Tibet, allover Tibetans was happy on their liberation, but Dalai not, because he was the biggest slave owners in Tibet. Before 1950s, Tibet was ruled under temples and Lama policy, lower class was treated as slaves for the temples and Lama, they worked on temples’ farms, feed temples’ livestock, and still could not secure their own lives due to temples’ crue rules. At that time, Tibaten temples were the biggest slavry society in the world.

And right now, anywhere you can see the Tibetan happy life and happy smiles, they got new-finished highway, railway, and they serve the same right of voting, decision on their region affairs. Their vision was greatly explored, and they walked out of Tibet, to all China, even to the world.

My dear friend, I did not hate any people from the world wide, because I am a business man in China, I have many business partners all over the world. Most of them have ever been to China, they love my country, and love Chinese people. I suggest you come and have a look at new China, she has already been a power in the world, and if there is no peaceful and harmonic social surroundings, how did she finish so much splendid success in the economic? And then you will see, those governments serves no right to blaim Chinese government’s policy and human right, instead, they need to learn something from China, to focus on the economic development in their own country, not to interfer other’s domestic affairs, not to cause any speration and wars in middle east and other less-developed countries and areas!

Open your mind, and open your eye, something heard was not always true!
