Clinton Is Asking Obama’s Pledged Delegates To Switch Sides

by @ 3:22 pm on April 6, 2008.

This time, it’s happening in North Dakota, where Obama already won the state’s caucuses:

Sen. Hillary Clinton made a blunt appeal to North Dakota delegates to switch their support to her, despite the fact that Sen. Barack Obama handily defeated her in the state’s caucus in February.

In an indication of how tense the battle has become for each Democratic delegate, Obama abandoned the campaign trail in Pennsylvania and scooted to North Dakota for the state party’s annual dinner last night, despite the fact that he’s already won 14 of the state’s 21 delegates as well as six of the state’s seven superdelegates.

The two candidates also will battle for votes tonight in Butte, Mont., when Democrats there hold their annual dinner. The Montana primary, which offers only a handful of delegates, is scheduled for June.

Clinton made it clear to North Dakota Democrats last night that she believes there is no such thing as a pledged delegate and highlighted that stubborn streak in her appeal for delegates to switch from Obama to her when the Democratic national party holds its nominating convention this August.

“I am here tonight because I am seeking your support,” Clinton said, adding that she never gives up.

“I know what it’s like to stumble. I know what it means to get knocked down. But I’ve never stayed down. I never will and neither will America if we get ready to win this election in November,” she said.

Frankly at this point, I’m not even surprised at tactics like this.

It is interesting to see how Hillary will change every Agrred Rules on Earth the moment it will be at her advantge, or probably to cause Infighting.

As such the DNC will need to have to beat Hillary by many steps forward in a serious forward thinking and make sure To Force all other outstanding Super Delagates to air their Endorsements quickly otherwise Hillary and her Clouts are sheming to Distablise the Party as a whole and that shall be very Caotic and Disbalancing the DNC as a party.

Hence, I agree with Howard Dean in his assertion that all The pending Super Del;egates should use their Super Thinking and decide resonably who do they want to win the Democratic Nominee so as not to Allow Hillary wishful thinking to maoul over the whole Process and Proceures and Rules leading to Democratic Presidential Nomination come August Democratic Convention.

I wish to see the Remaining Super Delegates to act in the interest of Democratic Party and act very, very Quickly. This will further allow a Good Breathing Spacwes for Mediation among wearing supporters.

The other remaining states yet looking forwards to vote shall equally be responsible at this moment in Time not to waste their votes and Be part of Obama supporters and to make him The Strog Democratic Nominee along side with the Remaining Super Delegates.

    Go Obama ‘08

[...] And there’s always the suggestion that Clinton has made more than once that even pledged delegates are, at least to her, fair game. [...]
