Below The Beltway

The Pennsylvania Horserace

by @ 6:29 am on April 7, 2008.

Last week, I noted that the latest Rasmussen Poll showed Barack Obama within five points of Clinton in Pennsylvania. Since then, two polls have come out showing that the Keystone State is far more competitive than it was a month ago.

First, Public Policy Polling released a poll that actually showed Obama with a slight, though statistically insignificant lead. At the time, the PPP poll appeared to be an outlier.

Now, though, another poll shows Pennsylvania within the margin of error. The latest American Research Group poll shows Obama and Clinton tied at 45%. Only two weeks ago, Clinton was leading 51% to 39%.

Things are getting very interesting for sure.
