I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

During the Nazi era, Hitler separated what is considered "traditional" art from the emerging "modern art."

Hitler was himself a fairly good artist, though he is rarely acknowledged for his skill as a painter. Hitler called modern art, "Jewish inspired degenerate art." In the early stages of the Reich, these modern works were segregated into a separate building and labeled as the exhibit of degenerate art, in order to educate the Germans as to what was considered acceptable and what was not.

Today in America, Art is treated like we treat Speech. Everything is tossed out into the public square, and judged on its own merits. While a few who make displays that denigrate the Cross, the Battle Flag or Old Glory, may call themselves artists, the public rejects their trash and regularly heaps scorn upon their amateurish slop.

While tastes in art vary, the People, in most cases, recognize garbage being passed of as art.
