I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Hillary Enters The No-Spin Zone, Day One

by @ 7:51 am on May 1, 2008.

Hillary Clinton, yes Hillary Clinton, was on The O’Reilly Factor last night for the first of a four part, two night interview.

Here’s Day One, Part One:

The part about the gas tax here was especially infuriating. Bill doesn’t even both to ask her what the heck a “gas tax holiday” would really accomplish for the American public, and let’s her yammer on about the oil companies’ non-existent “windfall profits”, including her audacious claim that they “didn’t do anything” to “deserve” the profits they’re making.

Why isn’t anyone calling her the Marxist that she is when she says nonsense like this ?

Who decides what an “acceptable” profit is ?

How, exactly, is she going to “take-down” OPEC ?

Just like her lame-brained mortgage plan, Hillary’s energy plan would wreck the economy, not just the American economy, but the economy of the entire industrialized world, apparently.

And Day One, Part Two:

Not much in this segment worth talking about, but it’s just weird to see these to getting chummy with each other.

Then again, this whole election season has been weird.

As always, judge for yourself.
