Heath Schuler, who had an ignominious career as the Quarterback of the Washington Redskins before entering Congress, endorses Hillary Clinton:
U.S. Rep. Heath Shuler is pledging his support to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, according to a spokesman.
Shuler, a superdelegate to the National Democratic Convention, had said he would back the candidate who carried his 11th congressional district in Western North Carolina.
Clinton carried the district by 13 points in Tuesday’s primary. Barack Obama carried the state.
Shuler,a former NFL quarterback, is serving his first term in Congress.
And probably thinks that by supporting the candidate who won his District, he will have a second term in Congress.

And to think, he only lost the starting position to a man who would ram his head into a brick wall celebrating a TD. Honestly, I think that says it all.
