I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

A Ron Paul Republican In Virginia

by @ 12:46 pm on May 9, 2008. Filed under Virginia, Virginia Politics

Ron Paul does a fundraising commercial for Amit Singh, Republican candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 8th District.

A cute commercial — the idea of giving Ron Paul someone to have lunch with is sort of funny. It seemed a little too scripted for me, though— like they were both reading off cue cards. And what’s with The Odd Couple theme ? I thought the idea was supposed to be that these two guys agree with each other ?

Nonetheless, a pro-liberty Republican in Arlington ? That can’t be a bad thing.

Unfortunately, the Republicans could nominate Thomas Jefferson himself and he’d still lose to Jim Moran in November.
