    what happens when you mix ignorance and a knee-jerk desire to spread anti-public-goods talking points? this kind of post.

    notice that the slope increases on that graph around the time of the 1970s legislation that mandated the USPS be revenue-neutral, i.e. required that it should either break even or make a profit. you ought to be happy about that, b/c it means that your precious tax dollars (which in the CfG’s eyes, are too precious to ever spend on any public good) aren’t subsidizing the delivery of mail.
