For Republican Vice-Presidential Madness that is:
Round 3 of CQ’s VP Madness is up. It’s down to eight candidates: Huckabee vs. Sanford; Pawlenty vs. Hutchison; Palin vs. Jindal; and Portman vs. Crist
Here’s how I voted:
- Huckabee vs. Sanford
No contest, Mark Sanford
- Pawlenty v. Hutchinson
Notwithstanding the weird sex joke, Tim Pawlenty
- Palin v. Jindal
This was the hardest choice. If it was just these two, I think either one of them would make a great Vice-Presidential pick. In the end, I chose Jindal because I think he represents the future of the GOP.
- Portman v. Crist
The smart regional choice, of course, would be Charlie Crist. But I chose Portman, because, well, I dunno.
