Hillary Clinton is hinting that she may take her fight for the Democratic nomination all the way to the convention:
BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) – Hillary Rodham Clinton says she is willing to take her fight to seat Florida and Michigan delegates to the convention if the two states want to go that far. In an interview with The Associated Press, Clinton was asked whether she would support the states if they continue the fight.
The presidential candidate said Wednesday, “Yes I will. I will, because I feel very strongly about this.”
I’m beginning to wonder what the heck Hillary’s smoking these days.
As I’ve noted numerous times over the last months, most recently today, there really is no realistic possibility that Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee even if the Florida and Michigan delegations are seated in numbers consistent with the results of their phony, unfair primaries.
So what’s her game plan here ?
I can only think of three possibilities.
- She really does intend to force a convention floor fight and intends to do what she can to force Obama’s pledged delegates away from him.
- She’s angling to be the Vice-Presidential nominee.
- She is simply so egotistical and obsessed with her role in history that she doesn’t care about either reality, or the consequences for her party or her country.
Take your pick. I choose a combination of 1 and 3 simply because Obama would be insane to pick her as his running mate given how this campaign has gone and she has to realize that much.

All three of your possibilities assume way too much coherence. I don’t think even she knows why she does what she does anymore.
