I’ll give Clinton supporter Chuck Schumer credit for a rare moment of candor:
Each candidate, of course, takes the position that benefits them at the moment.
That, in essence, is what’s going on here. Hillary Clinton isn’t basing this on principles or on a quest to make sure “every vote counts.” She is making this argument, as lame as it is, because it’s really the only argument she has left that gives her a shred of a chance, as flimsy as it is, of getting the nomination.
In other words, she a blatant political opportunist.
