Below The Beltway

I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Yet more weird Veep speculation:

Writes Paul Likoudis: “Concerning the possibility of Obama picking Hagel: Why is no one pushing Ron Paul as Obama’s running mate?

“Since Dick Cheney has turned the VP office into the Most Powerful Office in the Land, Ron Paul is the obvious choice to put the Office Back In Its Place. Also, Obama needs a good adviser. Ron Paul is obviously the best he could pick. Also, America needs a family doctor. Who better than Dr. Paul?”

Because, you know, Obama is a big-government leftist and, you know, Ron Paul is not.

That ranks right up there in terms of total political insanity with the idea of a Ron Paul-Dennis Kucinich ticket.
