And it looks like it will be a Star Trek reunion as well:
NEW YORK, June 4 (UPI) — George Takei reportedly has invited several of his former “Star Trek” co-stars to his upcoming wedding to Brad Altman in California.
The New York Post said Altman dropped to one knee and proposed to his 71-year-old partner when the California Supreme Court ruled last month that gay marriage was legal.
Takei and Altman have lived together in Los Angeles for 21 years.
Takei’s best man at the Sept. 14 ceremony is to be Walter Koenig, who played Chekhov on “Star Trek,” while Nichelle Nichols who played Uhura on the series, is to be matron of honor, the Post said.
Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock, is also to be a guest at the Sept. 14 ceremony.
One piece of advice George, for the love of all that is decent, please don’t ask William Shatner to sing.

The only thing more obscene than all that precedes it would be to have Shatner sing.

James,
On that point, you and I are in complete agreement.

Funny how Brad Altman looks a lot like William Shatner in a fat suit. Shatner should tell him to wear a corset with that bra!
