Is it a proper function of government for taxpayer dollars to be used to send the President’s wife on a “good will mission” to Afghanistan ?

    And I didn’t make mine clear in the response. I agree with you.

    And, no, sending Laura Bush to Afghanistan doesn’t do anything any more helpful than sending Hillary to Bosnia did.
