Quote And Question Of The Day: Does Anyone Really Like John McCain ?

by @ 5:58 pm on June 9, 2008.

A comment from Kevin Boyd serves as both our quote and question of the day:

Find me anyone, other than Yellow Dog Republicans who are genuinely enthusiastic about John McCain running for president? Whereas, Barack Obama continually fills up arena after arena when he gives a speech.

So, really, is there any such thing as a McCainiac out there ? And, if so, what is it about this guy who’s basically just Bob Dole redux that excites you so much ?

I’ve been wondering the exact same thing.

John McCain has me fired up, but not about his candidacy, but instead at my Party for once again nominating a big-government Republican. Or as you called him, “Bob Dole redux.”

Yes, John McCain has me fired up. So fired up I’m thinking of voting third party for the first time in my life (Bob Barr).

The world’s shortest book — after “Clinton Ethics” — is “Great Moderate Leaders.”

  4. Brian R Gentry Says:

Same here Lauren. As a former Georgian, I’m also looking at Barr.

But don’t forget about my favorite Pastor in America — Chuck Baldwin — who is the Constitution Party’s candidate for 2008.

He’s solid all the way down the line.
