Crystal Clear Conservative has found a Presidential candidate we can all support:
Most of my friends have been placing bets on who I would endorse for President of the United States. My polling has shown that 60% said that Bob Barr was my choice, 25% said Chuck Baldwin, and the best stat of all was that 20% said I would hold my nose and vote for McCain. Well, my friends are wrong (and NO, I am not voting for Barack Obama)!
Crystal Clear Conservative is starting the official write-in campaign for Jimmy Buffett to run as a Parrothead in the General Election.
Just imagine the State of the Union Address turned into an all-day parrothead tailgate on the National Mall.
Now that would be my kind of President.
The bonus to a Jimmy Buffett Presidency is the fact that there will be free Margaritas and a relaxed dress code. His inauguration would be the largest keg fest ever!
And as much as I like The Star Spangled Banner, Margaritaville is a much cooler National Anthem

But seriously, it is great to see Barr “on the map” now in major network newsrooms. 3% nationally is not a bad start considering that the bigger good news is that the MSM have apparently decided to show his poll results.
Barr is getting more attention right now than any Libertarian candidate for President ever has. What that means for November I don’t know, but it will be interesting to watch.
