Via the Barr 2008 Campaign Blog, comes this interesting list of states where Bob Barr could very well have an impact on the election:
New Hampshire – 10%
Oklahoma – 9%
New Mexico – 9%
Nevada – 9%
Georgia – 8%
Colorado – 8%

Arizona – 7%
Ohio – 7%
Indiana – 7%
Tennessee – 7%

South Carolina – 6%

All of these numbers come from recent Zogby polls, and represent a total of 367 Electoral Votes. While most of those states (i.e., Texas, Massachusetts, Connecticut for example) will clearly be safely Republican or Democratic in November, the fact that Barr is polling so well in states like New Hampshire, New Mexico, Georgia, Ohio, and Virginia could indicate significant trouble for the McCain campaign.
If John McCain isn’t worried about the Barr effect by now, he should be.
