As I noted last month, the nationwide polls mean next to nothing in a Presidential contest where the election is decided by the Electoral College.
Nonetheless, the media pays attention to them, as do the campaigns, so that makes them worth looking at:
Basically, not much different from what we saw last month. And I suspect that things will be about the same in early August as well.
This game will start up when it always does, at the conventions.
Most Americans are enjoying the summer, not paying attention to daily poll fluctuations. Perhaps we should all do the same.
