Bobby Jindal v. Governor Timmy:
Gov. Timothy M. Kaine (D) will have one last chance this weekend to prove to a national audience he is an effective surrogate for Sen.Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on the campaign trail.
Kaine will face off against Louisana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) this Sunday on NBC’s Meet The Press.
Kaine is mentioned as a possible running mate for Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president. Obama is expected to announce his running mate sometime next week.
Arizona Sen. John McCain, the presumptive GOP nominee for president, is reportedly considering Jindal as his running mate.
While I think that the odds of either Kaine or Jindal being their parties Veep nominees has diminished recently, this should still be fun to watch.
