Wouldn't this be as bad as McCain picking a young running mate (Dan Quayle part 2)? Wouldn't it be taken as Obama saying "you're right, I don't know about foreign policy... but this guy does!", which is exactly what Bush did? Personally, I love the Cheney comparison, which inherently includes an Obama-to-Bush comparison. I've made it myself (though not in print). Doesn’t it play into the right’s inexperience criticism?
