Rudy Giuliani Gets GOP Keynote Spot

by @ 7:45 pm on August 20, 2008.

Former New York Mayor and failed Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani has been named as the keynote speaker for the Republican National Convention:

WASHINGTON - Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor whose Republican presidential bid failed earlier this year, will be the keynote speaker at the GOP Convention in St. Paul, the GOP confirmed today.

Giuliani likely will highlight what he will describe as the success of Republican principles in turning around New York during his two terms when he speaks in prime-time on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 2.

I guess now we know what someone who spends $ 49 million on a Presidential campaign and wins exactly one delegate gets.
