Sarah Palin Officially Wins Republican Vice-Presidential Nomination

by @ 8:08 pm on September 4, 2008. Filed under 2008 Election, Politics, Sarah Palin

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has officially been nominated as the Vice-Presidential candidate of the Republican Party:

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (CNN) — Republicans nominated Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be their vice-presidential candidate, making her the first woman ever to run for the office as a Republican.

Palin was nominated on a voice vote which Sen. Mitch McConnell recognized as unanimous approval, prompting chants of “Sarah! Sarah!”

As with Obama’s nomination last week, it is an historic occasion regardless of what one thinks of the candidate. Only the second woman nominated on a major party ticket in American history, and the first woman nominated by the Republican Party.

2008 is truly an election for the history books.

Why are the Republicans so hell-bent on perpetuating the fear factor? Seriously, they just got done showing a tape of fear, hatred, and Jihadis coming to kill us – at the convention. WHY -WHY – WHY? Is this their only way to reach vulnerable people, by striking fear into their hearts?
I’m sich and tired of this – AMERICA IS NOT LIKE THIS!!!

Palin was great. I liked the pit-bull joke. That was the only interesting part. Indeed, she is a pit-bull with lipstick and McCain is an old pit-bull without lipstick. These guys belong in a cage and neutered to make them not as dangerous to people.

Ummm Daniel, how is that relevant to the post?

After watching Sarah Palin speak to her old Assemblies of God church on youtube, she scares the hell out of me! I want leaders to pray for God’s will, then one who assume to KNOW God’s will sacre me to death. That attitude, the view of the Jews/Israel and their millenialism make me think she just may work to bring on Armageddon!

  5. I really don’t think you should give much credit to Sarah Palin.

    For multiple reasons…
