Dumb Move Barack

I’ve got to agree with Justin that the latest ad out of the Obama campaign, which essentially blasts John McCain for not being hip enough to use email is pretty lame:

Leaving aside the rest of it, the part about McCain not knowing how to use email is not only lame, it’s stupid:

McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes

Sort of hard to use email when you can’t type isn’t it ?

Say what you will about John McCain, but he’s not a man who’s demanded much sympathy for the injuries he suffered in war and imprisonment. Criticizing him for not using email because he can’t type strikes me as about as disingenuous as publishing that photograph of him hugging George Bush because he’s physically incapable of shaking hands.

Don’t the Democrats do opposition research anymore ? Or at least have common decency ?
