When You Wallow In Scum…..

by @ 8:25 am on October 15, 2008. Filed under 2008 Election, Barack Obama, Politics, Sarah Palin

Another example of overheated rheortic inciting crowds from Sarah Palin’s appearance today in Scranton, Pennsylvania:

Chris Hackett addressed the increasingly feisty crowd as they await the arrival of Gov. Palin.

Each time the Republican candidate for the seat in the 10th Congressional District mentioned Barack Obama the crowd booed loudly.

One man screamed “kill him!”

It was only one man, but it was still more than a decent politician should have allowed to go unanswered.

Soooo, Doug, you’re suggesting that a politician should respond to such idiocy?

If politicians are required to respond to every idiotic statement made by every idiot who attends one of his or her rallies, you might was well not hold them, because that’s all they’d have to do.

‘Course, perhaps the Secret Service should have been doing its job and arresting this guy for making such threats.

  2. You know what ? It would be nice to see a politician denounce a moron like the guy who shouted “Kill him”

More importantly, it would be nice if Palin would talk about the issues rather than throwing red-meat to the crowd.

You are aware, by the way, that this has been investigated by the Secret Service and found to be unfounded. No one at that rally, either in security or any attendee interviewed, can vouch for this story except the reporter who originally reported it.
