		<description>It may turn out to be the case that John McCain’s campaign died in mid-September when the markets crashed and, in the midst of what seemed at the time like a bid to demonstrate his ability to lead, he failed as the public watched. 

Yes, and it could be that when both BO and JMc voted for the bailout, a lot of voters threw up their hands and admitted that wasn&#039;t much difference between the two major candidates, and that between a fascist and a socialist, they picked the socialist as the lesser of two evils.  McCain could have lead, or he could have differentiated himself -- he did neither.</description>
