Well, it won’t satisfy the wingnuts, but this announcement from the State of Hawaii should put the matter to rest:
The state health director said yesterday she has personally seen and verified Sen. Barack Obama’s original birth certificate in an effort to address numerous requests for the document.
Obama, who is running against Sen. John McCain for president, posted on his Web site the birth certificate showing Honolulu as his birthplace.
State law prohibits the release of a birth certificate except to a person seeking his or her own certificate and the person’s spouse, parent and legal guardian.
But health officials have been receiving numerous e-mail and phone requests for the document, according to Janice Okubo, Heath Department spokeswoman.
Health Director Chiyome Fukino said she and the vital statistics registrar viewed and verified Obama’s birth certificate.
Of course, the Philip Bergs of the world will probably say that Fukino and Okubo are part of a grand conspiracy, hatched 47 years ago, to put Barack Obama in the White House.

I can post my copy of the deed that proves I own your house. I can post as many copies of the deed as you might ever want to look at. Each and every copy says I own your house.
Everyone I know says I own your house.
The registar of deeds says she “has the valid deed to your house on file”. She will not make any other comments regarding the deed, and says that the statement stands on its own.
Good enough! Doug, you are clearly a delusional wingnut to be occupying my house. Please leave my house today so I can occupy my property.
I also own the house of anyone else that claims the statement by Health Director Chiyome Fukino to be sufficient.

Sigh. What do you not understand? You no longer own your house. By the way, a web site owned by some of my employees has now verified that my copy of the deed is authentic. It has a raised seal and everything.
The registrar of deeds has personally seen and verified that the archives have the original deed to your house.
This should prove everything. What more evidence do you need that I own your house?

It suddenly occured to me that you might actually think my copy of the deed is a forgery! Horrors! Take my word for it, the deed is real. I challenge you to prove otherwise. I don’t think you can prove it is a forgery.
Everyone I have spoken to has said my deed is real and the registrar has not contradicted me at all.
Should you try to take this to court, by the way, you will find that you do not have standing since you are not the owner. Only owners have standing and you are not the owner as my copy of the deed clearly proves.
For you to believe otherwise is clearly delusional.
Please vacate the premises by Monday.
