Fox News Turns On Sarah Palin

FNS becomes the battleground on which various factions of the McCain campaign fight over who’s to blame:

Take the specific allegations for what they’re worth, although I’ll not that much of it is similar to what Newsweek reported yesterday.

At the very least, though, it confirms something I suspected all along — Sarah Palin was never vetted.

The problem with her selection is two fold. First, she clearly wasn’t qualified for the job. Second, the manner in which she was picked demonstrated an appalling lack of judgment on McCain’s part and gives us a clue as to what kind of President he would have been.

Say what you will about Barack Obama, but the one thing America doesn’t need is a President who’s response to a crisis, whether its a decline in the polls or a financial crisis, is to throw a “Hail Mary” pass and hope it works out okay.
