Bobby Jindal was in Virginia today and had something to say about the speculation that he might run for President in 2012:
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal says he’s not interested in a 2012 run for president and will seek re-election in 2011.
At a news conference Wednesday with Bob McDonnell, Virginia’s 2009 Republican candidate for governor, Jindal was asked if he was interested in being president.
Jindal’s reply: “No.”
He elaborated that he intends to run for re-election as Louisiana’s governor. He did not preclude the prospect of changing his mind, however.
There are two ways to look at this.
First, if Jindal really is seriously thinking about running in 2012, it’s far too early for him to say so publicly and the type of denial he issued today is fairly standard political fare. The second possibility, though, is that Jindal genuinely isn’t interesting in a 2012 run and may be looking further down the road to 2016, at which point he would be ending his second term as Louisiana’s Governor.

The second possibility is right.
I think he[jindal] has already foresaw that Obama’s administration will be successful in its economic policies, boosting the economy.(The economy couldn’t get any worse, all that is left is the slow economic recovery after the latter half of 2009.)And it will also make it possible for Incumbent to win in 2012.
