Below The Beltway

I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Oh Dear Lord

Meet Joe the Unlicensed Plumber, political consultant:

Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans.

When GOP congressional aides gather Tuesday morning for a meeting of the Conservative Working Group, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher – more commonly known as Joe the Plumber — will be their featured guest. This group is an organization of conservative Capitol Hill staffers who meet regularly to chart GOP strategy for the week.

Is the Republican Party so empty of people with, you know, real ideas that they have to resort to this nonsense ?

I think these “staffers” need to be reading Locke, Sidney, Jefferson, Mises, and Hayek in their free time, not listening to the economic analysis of Joe the Economist!

  3. Actually, I think his official name is (Not) Joe the (Non) Economist.

    Otherwise, I agree

Ole Joe better pay his back taxes or his political career is finished ! :>)
