Mark Sanford: Don’t Prosecute Michael Phelps

South Carolina’s Governor doesn’t think that law enforcement in his state should pursue criminal charges against Michael Phelps for taking a bong hit:

I’m really starting to like this guy.

    I think I agree, but for different reasons: it seems to me a very hard case to prosecute (your primary evidence is a photo?!?!), and hardly worth resources which could be better spent elsewhere.
