    Regarding Paul’s last words that bankruptcy and the fall of the dollar “finally wake us up.” I think he’s being opitimistic. Forty five years ago, Goldwater tried to wake us up. You could argue (weakly) that Reagan tried to wake us up. Paul himself tried to wake us up just last year. My fear is that we’ll never wake up……that the next step in this political devolution will be a truly over-the-top fascist who will promise us a solution to our problems.
