You can now by a share of stock in The New York Times Company for less than it costs to buy the Sunday New York Times.

Yea, they’ve got a problem alright.

    Maybe it was not so smart that the NYT spent hundreds of millions on building an HQ when they could have rented. Their stock buy-back program also was a loser as it consumed billions of much-needed capital to increase the value of family-owned shares.

    Pinch needs to get real.
