With opening day approaching, the final touches are being put on the new Yankee Stadium:
NEW YORK (WPIX) — Consider it a change of address for The Babe, from the “House That Ruth Built” to “The House That George (Steinbrenner) Built.” Babe Ruth’s monument has been officially moved from the old Yankee Stadium to Monument Park in the New Yankee Stadium. It’s a pretty important relocation for the most popular Yankee stone memorial of them all.
Hopefully, he’ll bring some luck to the Yankees in their new home.
