An interesting exchange from yesterday’s Meet The Press:
“You’ve got to want the president to succeed. You’re irrational if you don’t want the president to succeed. Because if he doesn’t succeed the country doesn’t succeed… I don’t think anyone should want the president of the United States to fail. I want some of his policies to be stopped. But I don’t want the president of the United States to fail. I want him to learn new policies,”

I disagree with Newt. I believe it is completely rational to want the President to fail. I believe it is completely reasonable to see the President as a group of ideas and solutions. As a group of ideas and solutions I see only greater chaos and calamity coming from him. I see only continued government created enslavement and control. These are not the things that I have cherished throughout my 53 years. I am not poor and I would give all I own to be free of where this government is takeing us. So, from the perspective of where this government is taking us, I really want this president to fail. All these crazy liberal ideas are not just crazy, they are dangerous. They suck the life out of people who make the country work. They destroy initiative and reward irresponsible behavior. They are immoral and they enslave us. I totally agree with Rush. Be polite if you wish and say that you want him to succeed, just not his policies, but me, I see that as cowardice. Jeff
Newt is absolutely correct and besides who needs or wants a fat assed, drugged up bag of wind like Rush Limbaugh speaking on your behalf anyway… That only works if you are a brainless “Ditto Head” and incapable of a single thought of your own… GO NEWT, finally a conservative with conviction.
