He’s being eccentric. Glenn Beck has always struck me as excessively eccentric, and IMO eccentricity might be fine in a joking manner outside of the public eye, but it has no place in political discussion (at least in Glenn Beck’s style) unless you don’t want to be taken seriously. It also comes off as rather self-indulgent.
