The Obama Birth Truther Civil War Begins

by @ 3:57 pm on May 6, 2009.

Via Dr. Conspiracy comes news that the crazies pursuing the baseless allegations that Barack Obama is not eligible to be President have turned on themselves:

In a move long anticipated, Philadelphia lawyer Phil Berg, anti-Obama activist and judicial candidate has filed suit against Orly Taitz on behalf of individuals who have come under attack recently by California lawyer and anti-Obama conspiracy theories promoter Orly Taitz.

Orly Taitz frequently makes publishes assertions that two people who share the same name are the same person (like Barry Soetoro and Soetoro Moestabjab), and in this case Lisa Liberi, Phil Berg’s, associate may be the victim of just such a false association with a New Mexico felon having a similar name.

Also, former webmaster of Orly Taitz’s blog, Lisa Ostella, the recipient of all sorts of accusations related to the handling of former Orly blogs and the funneling of PayPal donations, is suing. We’ve reported here on the Ostella accusations before.

As I’ve noted, Berg isn’t any better than Taitz when it comes to actually understanding what the citizenship requirements of Article I mean, but it will nonetheless be fun to sit back and watch these two tear each other apart.

You can find the Complaint here.

Take a read of page two for some funny stuff:

“Defendants’ are well aware it is Orly Taitz, et al who has placed JS Kit software which is a “tracking” and “hacking” software on her Defend our Freedoms Foundation, Inc. websites and blogs in order to “track” and “hack” individuals and their computers who have visited her websites.”

For those that are unaware, JS Kit is a blog software used for commenting and trackbacks (notifications to other blogs that you have linked to their posts).

What a bunch of insane people…

Actually, that’s on page three, not page two.

    Yea I caught that.

Like I said, Phil Berg and Orly Taitz are both equally insane.

It will still be fun watching them destroy each other

  4. Cymraeg Says:

I assume Berg’s next step will be to take Orly’s deposition. I would love to sit in on that!!!! There will be fireworks.
