Apropos of my previous thoughts on the extent to which the Birther movement seems to be making itself more respectable among some Republican/conservative circles, Dave Weigel notes that Delaware Congressman Mike Castle recently found himself in the middle of a town hall that turned out to be full of birthers:
Is this an indication that the GOP base is buying into birther paranoia ? For their sake, and ours, I hope not.
