Tell Me Again Why Democracy Is A Good Idea

When the vast majority of the voting public comprises people like this:

H.L. Mencken put it best:

Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance.

    Did she, like, go to school, like, ever? Did she miss the classes on logic and reasonable thinking? The sort of argument and analysis that is required in high school English class? Did she skip out on an entire four years’ of American History and consumer information?

    Good thing she didn’t grow up in New York State: she’d have failed the Regents’ exams.
