I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

I was watching this on TV and was shocked. Although, nothing should shock me anymore. I’ve learned that any time anyone claims to be a “conservative”, they will back up that claim soon by saying something extremely loony. Here was Scarborough’s turn to prove his looniness. He said that Liberals raised a furor too when Reagan and the Bushes gave similiar speeches to students. This is a complete lie. He then went on to add that the reason why it wasn’t reported in the media that Liberals raised a furor back then is because we have a Liberal media. And this is another lie, of course. Since when did we have a Liberal media? He wants us to believe that the media is Liberal, and that’s the only reason why they are reporting that Republicans are making a fool of themselves by complaining about Obama’s speech to a bunch of school kids. In case he didn’t know it, it is Conservative outlets such as Faux News and Rush Limbo’s that are doing the best job of exposing how petty and rude and racist Republicans are. Is Rush Limbo a Liberal?

Abel…Are you serious?? You can’t possibly think that the American media is not Liberal? Everyone knows that our mainstream media is Liberal. You obviously watch a lot of mainstream media outlets and don’t see the other side. And…just because Fox News reports both sides and calls out Obama, doesn’t make them right-winged. Yes, they have Hannity (who used to have a liberal co-host) and Glenn Beck, which are Conservative shows…but their news shows are straight news reporting…the way journalism is supposed to be. That’s why Fox News ratings destroy everyone else on cable news and continue to go up every day! People seek out and want the truth and Fox News is where you can get it. The ACORN story has been barely reported by anyone except FOX News…That’s a huge story. Not Republican, not Democrat…not Conservative, not Liberal. It should bother every American that this organization is using taxpayer money…therefore, it’s a news story. MSNBC, for example, didn’t report it until Monday…almost a week after it came out…Why? Because they think people will associate ACORN with Obama (they will). So MSNBC (the network that is in bed with the Obama administration) chose to downplay the story…and so did other networks.
The ONLY place you can get the other side is Fox News and talk radio. Think God there is talk radio (which the Left is trying to do away with…with something called the Fairness Act)! Journalism in America is basically gone. Journalism is supposed to be objective, not subjective.
As for racism…it’s the liberals that always play the race-card. Whenever they have nothing, they go to the race-card. Jimmy Carter with his latest statement is pathetic. People can’t even disagree with the President, without being called a racist. Obama publicly said he didn’t believe what JC said was true, but he said that bc he’s smart. He knows MSNBC, CNN, etc. will keep it going. The racism topic, they hope, will get people watching their networks AND, get people away from the real debates.
By the way, it’s Liberals and big government that do African-Americans the most injustice. All the liberal government programs that they put in place to help minorities, actually do more to hurt them in the long run. Read this…from a black economist named Walter Williams. This man is a smart guy!! This video was done in the early 80’s

Joe,Joe,Joe, I am a Republican and believe me I DO listen to both sides and decide. Telling Mica to shut up from Beck waa not appropriate and I do not always agree with him anyway but at least she was a citizen NOT a President of the U.S. Have you ever heard Keith Olberman of your bias network telling several times for Pres. Bush to “shut the —- up”? I very seldom watch him and the one time I decided to I was shocked that such venom would come out of a journalist mouth. You are right, that is why MSNBC has such low ratings. He is only 1 of many like him. Shame. shame!
