Can it really be a civil society when we’re no longer talking to each other:
THOUSAND OAKS — A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
(…)
A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.
The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker’s pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles.
Billy Beck, it seems, was right when he said:
You have always heard it here first: All politics in this country now is just dress rehearsal for civil war.
I see no signs of that changing for the better any time soon.

On one level, I’m willing to say “Bring it on.”
Those far Lefties with the courage of their convictions won’t do so well, having disarmed themselves.
Oh, wait: far-Lefties are hypocrites.
I could say the exact same thing about the righ
James Y sho’ don’t like Lefties!
It is not polite to point.
For all of our sakes, I hope that those who seem so eager to see a war, are grossly disappointed when our economy recovers and we again move briskly along the path to prosperity.
While there are some who seethe over the fact that we now have a mulatto as our President, they sadly miss the point that his failure as President means that we fail as a nation.
The best tactic for both sides is to follow the American tradition of attempting to unite behind our President, well, at least on common ground issues.
In the eyes of the world, all of this Limbaughesque carping of hope for Obama’s failure, does nothing to weaken Obama, but it does weaken US.
Civil war is the very last thing that I, for one, am “eager” for, but what I want doesn’t matter to the facts of things now.
And I have nothing in common with this government.
My pinkie, my pinkie, my kingdom for a pinkie but I guess he has that terrible Medicare a “Single-payer health care insurance” what a hypocrite. Did the little pinkie cry “Wee-wee-wee!” all the way home? It real should have been his right pinky finger that would have been a better story. They are haters not debaters.
