Below The Beltway

I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Barack Obama definitely the first black man to get attacked by the right for telling kids to study hard and stay in school.

  1. James Young says:

And, of course, that’s NOT why he’s being attacked. He’s being attacked for the likelihood that, like every other occasion, he’ll use the occasion to pursue his partisan agenda. He’s being attacked because his Department of Education issued a study guide (since changed) which fed into his cult of personality.

As usual, the far Left at its apologists try to change the subject when confronted with embarrassing facts.

  2. Scandia says:

If he can hold most students’ attention for more than 10 minutes, I’ll be surprised. I’m sure the elementary students will just eat up “his partisan agenda” and go home and tell their parents about the wonder of socialism. Yea!

Your second sentence says it all “He’s being attacked FOR THE LIKELIHOOD that..” IOW, you don’t KNOW what he’s going to say, at least not yet.

Like I said, Scandia, “He’s being attacked for the likelihood that, like every other occasion, he’ll use the occasion to pursue his partisan agenda.” Unlike the far Left, we on “the right” generally try to learn the lessons of history. The lessons of this man’s history are that he will attempt to use the occasion for partisan advantage. We could be wrong … but not if history is any guide.

And I notice that you don’t have any comment on the cult-of-personality study guide.
