I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

A Good Week In The War On Terror

by @ 3:30 pm on September 25, 2009. Filed under Homeland Security, In The News, War On Terror

It’s been an extraordinarily good week in the War On Terror in that there have been several arrests that appear to have broken up terror plots that were in various stages of development.

First, in Denver over the weekend two men were arrested in connection with an apparent bombing plot. At the same time police also picked up a Brooklyn Imam who apparently had a relationship with the two Colorado men.

Then, an Illinois man who called himself Talib Islam was arrested for plotting to blow up a Federal building in Springfield.

And, finally, a man named Hosam Maher Husein Smadi was arrested in Dallas on charges of plotting to blow up a skyscraper with a car bomb.

Nicely done law enforcement.
