ABC’s New V Promo And Sneak Peaks

Here’s the new commercial promo for ABC’s V remake, which premiere’s November 3rd:

It all looks very promising, but there are bad signs up ahead:

It earned some of the biggest raves from fans and critics of any pilot this season, yet the scuttlebutt continues that “V” is in trouble.

Fueling the fire: ABC’s decision to split this season’s 13 episodes into two “pods.” Network confirmed Friday that the sci-fi drama will launch as planned on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m., for four episodes. The show will then take a hiatus and return in midseason – most likely, March – to run its remaining nine segs.

Production has been halted on “V” as the show’s producers work on future episodes; it’s expected to resume sometime within the next several weeks.

In waiting until March to resume “V,” net insiders noted that they wanted to avoid the January “American Idol” juggernaut and the Winter Olympics in February.

Earlier this year, McPherson told reporters that the net planned to experiment with how the show is scheduled.

“There will be a beginning, middle and end,” McPherson said.

The question is, will anyone be watching after a three month hiatus ?
