The war of words continues:
GRAHAM: No, I’m not saying he’s bad for America. You got the freedom to watch him if you choose. He did a pretty good job on ACORN. What I am saying, he doesn’t represent the Republican Party. You can listen to him if you like. I choose not to because, quite frankly, I don’t — I don’t want to go down the road of thinking our best days are behind us. We need to act decisively.
People are genuinely upset with how much money we’re spending up here. But at the end of the day, when a person says he represents conservatism and that the country’s better off with Barack Obama than John McCain, that sort of ends the debate for me as to how much more I’m going to listen. So he has a right to say what he wants to say. In my view, it’s not the kind of political analysis that I buy into.

That was a horrible question by the ‘journalist’.
Graham’s statement about Beck rathering Obama over McCain is short sighted. He obviously forgets the damage that the Bush administration did in the name of conservatism. But lately, people seem to be paying more attention. As Nick Gillespie said, they are starting to realize that the problem isn’t Democrats or Republicans… it’s big government.
“What I am saying, he doesn’t represent the Republican Party.”
I wonder what gave him his first clue? No Sh#t, Sherlock. Beck would be the first one to admit that. Beck IS horrible for the GOP as it STANDS TODAY. He thinks that Americans are being screwed by BOTH parties. And I haven’t seen any evidence that he’s wrong on that.
Beck’s shows aren’t for the hand wringing PC crowd. What he’s running isn’t a heck of a lot different from an AA Meeting. But instead of pushing off alcohol in favor of sobriety he is pushing off addiction to big government in favor of initiative and responsibility. The thing is that even the so-called moderate politicians have become addicts. Go Glenn!
