Afghanistan, Eight Years Later

It was eight years ago today that America’s War in Afghanistan began with a bombing campaign. Since then, 852 Americans have died and, as this chart shows, we are seven months away from the point at which Afghanistan will become the longest war in American history:

The Soviets were in Afghanistan for 118 months, how long will we be there ?
